If the LED light is flashing on/off and wont stay turned on…

1. First make sure the battery is plugged into the pad and try again,

2. If the battery continues to flash when plugged into the pad, check the colour of the light that is flashing, if it flashes green this mean the battery needs to be charged and if it still flashes red then please email us at info@epiony.com describing your problem.

1. The reason it may not feel hot is if you feel the pad when not on the body the heat is escaping. Our pads work on heat building up.

2. This is also why we suggest putting a rug over, especially if it’s a cold day, the pad will work better more efficiently and effectively.

TO TEST THE PAD IS WORKING

1. First fold it in half

2. Leave on red led (max heat) for 20 mins

3. Then put your hand inside and it should feel really warm

4. If it still doesn’t feel warm please email us at info@epiony.com describing your problem

The pad on max heat (red LED) will last just under 2 hours* (Please check instructions), the reason it doesn’t run for longer is because generating heat requires a large amount of energy, we would need a larger heavier battery to run it for longer which we don’t deem safe to use on animals.

The pad can be placed on most areas of the body on both animals and people. Avoid the tendons on horses and head.

Rough guide:

1. Put on 15-20 minutes before a ride to warm the back muscles and help cold backed horses

2. 15-20 minutes after a ride to soothe the muscles.

3. 30 minutes to 1 hour daily maintenance for a problem area.

However, there is no limit on the length of time you can leave it on, person or animal.

1. Red LED- use on horses and animals with a thick coat. Peoples knees and other joints to provide pain relief (especially arthritis)

2. Orange LED- use on peoples backs (consider using it over a thin t-shirt if you have sensitive skin to heat but can be used directly on the skin, just turn down if it feels too warm) and clipped out horses if red is too warm for them.

4. Green LED- use on peoples back and if a person wishes to lay down on the pad

5. Flashing Green LED- same as green above just slightly cooler.

This is just a rough guide, if used on yourself drop down a setting if too warm, if used on animals make sure they aren’t too warm by carrying out regular checks, never leave the pad unsupervised.

No, The Heat Pad provides thermal therapy only.

Simply wipe over with a damp cloth or antibacterial wipe. DO NOT submerge in water or put in the washing machine.
